ABA Based Services and Supports for Children and Youth with ASD Central West Region
ErinoakKids and Kerry’s Place Autism Services are thrilled to announce a new service available to children and youth with ASD in Central West Region. The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has recently allocated resources to provide Applied Behaviour Analysis Based Services and Supports for Children and Youth with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Using an ABA approach, services and supports will focus on addressing the needs that children and youth with ASD have in the following key developmental areas:

Variety Village Peel will be starting their second sessions of Children in Motion/Youth in Motion from Tuesday January 10th to Tuesday March 13, 2012. Children in Motion program is for children between the ages of 3 to 12 years and will be held from 6:00pm to 6:55pm. Youth in Motion program is for youth between the ages for 13 to 21 years and will be from 7:00pm to 8:25pm. Please see the flyer for more information and to register for the session. Camp Kennebec is a non-competitive inclusive summer residence camp for campers aged 7 and up with a range of exceptionalities including: ADD/ADHD, ASD, Aspergers, and social and behavioral difficulties. Kennebec offers our campers as "typical" a summer camp experience as possible, with all the activities, silliness, personal growth and wonder that a summer camp offers. Camp Prospect was established in 1998 at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre. In the spring of 2006, Camp Prospect opened its first full time residential program. Due to the increased service that Camp Prospect provides, the name of the organization was changed to Prospect Services. Prospect Services encompasses Camp Prospect, Prospect Residential Services, Prospect Respite Services and all other services that Camp Prospect previously provided.
