Autism Ontario - Ottawa Chapter supports the programs listed below. The groups are run independently, by volunteer co-ordinators.
Asperfemme
A support group for adult women with high-functioning Autism or Asperger's Syndrome. Monthly meetings or outings on the first friday on every month! For more information contact Jody at ottawa@autismontario.com or 613.230.6305 ext.22
Asperger Syndrome Parents Support Group
A group for parents of children diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and high functioning autism/PDD (and anyone involved in their care) to exchange support and information. Meetings are a mix of informal discussions and invited speakers. They are held the last Monday of every month from Sept. to May at the Bronson Centre (211 Bronson Ave., at Nepean St.) at 7:30 pm.. We also publish a comprehensive resource guide and send out regular email notices on activities relevant to our members. Please come and join us.

Support Group for Family Members of Adults with ASD
A group for family members of adults (late teens and up) diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder to exchange support and information. Meetings are generally held the third Wednesday of the month from September to May at the Bronson Centre (211 Bronson Avenue) at 7:30pm. This is a drop-in group, and registration is not required.
Aspirations
A group for adults and older teens (ages 16 and up) with Asperger Syndrome. Mutual support, guest speakers, educational activities - and fun! Parents, other relatives, friends, and professionals are also welcome to attend. Group meets the Third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m., except during the summer.

Spouse Support Group
This is a support group for those who are dealing with the challenges of building and maintaining a relationship with a partner who has an ASD. This group is intended for individuals in a committed adult relationship. It will provide opportunities to share experiences, successes and discuss chosen topics. The goal is for participants to build a personal toolkit for maintaining a healthy long-term relationship. Meetings will be held the 1st Monday of the month at 6:30pm to 8:30pm. 211 Bronson Ave Suite 210.

West End Support Group
This group is offered to parents of children with ASD living in the rural West End of Ottawa. Service area includes Arnprior, Fitzroy Harbour, Kinburn, Carp, Dunrobin and Renfrew. Parents from Ottawa are welcome as well!

Social Skills groups for Children and Youth
