PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program is designed for elementary school-aged children with a diagnosis ASD. Each child will take part in warm up activities, a gymnastics skills circuit, practice on various pieces of equipment and finish with an opportunity on the trampoline. Visuals are being created for the facility to help with structuring the 60-min program and each activity.
A signed waiver, and information sheets are required before your child can begin the program. These will be provided to you when you are contacted for registration confirmation.

Location:
Gymnastics Energy, Hannover Dr. St. Catharines

Dates/Times: 
Classes starting in February
Potential times only - Friday afternoon (preschool), Saturday afternoons (all other children)

Cost:
Cost is only $75.00 for families, with a commitment of volunteer hours as a program volunteer. A parent or another capable volunteer designated by the parent will be required to participate and support the children in the program working with the gymnastics coach.
*The program is valued at $135, but the fees are being sponsored by the RCP program.

Notes:
1. dates and times may alter depending on interest
2. groups will be determined by age, skill level, and space.
3. Parents are able to watch from a viewing station but are not permitted onto the gym floor unless participating as a volunteer.
4. Parents must commit to some volunteering hours which includes being on the floor, assisting with behaviours of all children and encouraging participation in every activity.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the expected popularity of this Social Learning Opportunity, families are required to notify Autism Ontario - Niagara Region if their plans change and their child is not able to participate as this may enable other children to benefit from participation. Click here to cancel by email.
