Parent Pamper Day

 

Speaker: Nancy Wardrop, Master of Social Work

Family Therapist/ Social Worker from London Health Sciences Centre and teacher in the Social Work program at King’s College. Ms. Wardrop is a highly recommended and dynamic speaker with a  passion to help families. 

 

Topic: Keeping a Balance- The Mind-Body Connection and the Importance of Self Care for Families that have Children with Autism and other Special Needs.

 

Pamper opportunities at this event held at the London Hilton Hotel on January 12, 2008 included hairstyling, manicures, massage therapy, iridology, reiki, and reflexology.


This event was generously sponsored by the Realizing Community Potential Program in partnership with Community Living London.  
Parents were also offered movie tickets to Rainbow Cinemas for the day of the event so that their children, and support workers could go off to see a movie while the parents were being pampered.
