Pin Pals League 

WHAT: A bowling league
WHERE: Fleetway
WHEN: Every Thursday starting in February until the end of March
COST:   $25 for members of Autism Ontario
              $35 for non members
AGE:     6 and up
TIME:   6-7:30 pm 

Parents are required to stay during this programming!

Teen Drop in Centre 

What: Teen Drop in Centre
Where: 600 Sanatorium Road, Unit 1 (Our Office)
When: First Tuesday of the month
Time: 6-8pm
Cost: $2/ night
Age : 13 and up

Parents are asked not to stay during this event 

Each month we will be having a different theme.

Our first month will be based on ice breaker activities, so we can get to know each other better.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.

This group will also focus on social skills through building new relationships, joining conversations and taking part in group activities in a very informal way. We have volunteers from Western and Fanshawe who will act as participants.

Teen Dinner Club 

What: Teen Dinner Club
Where: 600 Sanatorium Road, Unit 1 (Our office)
When: Last Thursday of the month
Time: 5-7pm
Cost: $5-10 a month depending on what the group decides to make
                   * First meeting will be a $5 charge
Age: 13 and up

Parents are asked not to stay during this event. 

Each month the group will decide on a different dinner menu for the night. We will complete the dinner service as a group, completing such tasks as: 

    * Preparing the food
    * Setting the table
    * Eating as a group
    * Cleaning up
    * Deciding next month's menu 

This group will also focus on social skills through making new relationships, working as part of a team and taking part in group conversation in a very informal way. We have volunteers from Western and Fanshawe who will act as participants.

Toddler Drop in Centre 

What:    Toddler Drop in Centre
Where:  600 Sanatorium Road, Unit 1 (Our Office)
When:   Third Tuesday of the month
Time:     6-8pm
Cost:     $2/ night
Age:      10 and under 

First meeting will be a drop in style atmosphere with stations set up; games will be set up around the room, colouring station, puzzles, books, sensory toy section.

Parents will be provided with information on play, building relationships, and given an opportunity to meet and network with other parents. Children will be able to play in a safe environment and have a chance to meet their peers.

Volunteers will be able to give parents a break, as well as help to facilitate the play.

Parents are required to stay during this drop in. 

Possible opportunities to travel to play centers in the community and learn about their resources for example: Teach and Play, Childreach etc.
