Some time ago, we were successful in our application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation with the goal of "More children and youth have emotional and social strengths, and Parents, caregivers and adult allies have the skills to support children and youth who are facing barriers."
We offered presentations around the region.
Autism Ontario Kingston Chapter wishes to acknowledge the Ontario Trillium Foundation, an Agency of the Government of Ontario for funding these presentations. We are also very grateful to the presenters for their time and support with this project.
Thanks also to Students from Queen's University for their help to develop the various "Life Skill" programs.
These presentations were also open to professionals. A diagnosis of ASD was not required to register for these presentations. Notes and resources relevant to the various presentations are available through the links below. You will also find below other resources which may be of interest.
If you missed the presentation, but want more information, please do not hesitate to contact the Kingston Chapter Office to arrange a time to meet.
If you have any questions or suggestions for future presentations, please do not hesitate to contact the office at 613-507-7896 or Kingston@autismontario.com.
