Autism
Ontario - Durham Region hosts four autism support groups at various locations throughout the region. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend any group. Membership is not required.

Please note: our autism support groups are not suitable for children.
Our meetings offer peer-to-peer support for adult parents/guardians and caregivers only. If you plan to attend our support groups in Bowmanville, Whitby or Sunderland, please make arrangements to leave your children at home as on-site childcare is not currently provided at these locations.

On-site respite care provided by FOOTPRINTS (a non-profit registered charity) is available for children affected by autism age 13 and under while parents/caregivers attend our Pickering autism support group (only).
