Canada Student Grant for Students with Permament Disabilities: The Canada Student Grant for Students with Permanent Disabilities is a grant that provides $2,000 each school year (August 1 to July 31). You can get this grant for each year of your studies (including undergraduate and graduate levels) as long as you continue to meet the eligibility requirements.

Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Permament Disabilities: This grant provides up to $8,000 per academic year for exceptional education-related services or equipment.

Autism Ontario Scholarships  Individuals on the autism spectrum entering the first year of a post-secondary program may apply for the Eleanor Ritchie Post‐Secondary Scholarship.

Canada Student Loans-Permament Disability Program - Allows for the forgiveness of Canada student loans for persons who have a permanent disability and are experiencing hardship repaying their loans due to their disability.


Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE):  CICE programs are 2 year college programs offered at several colleges around Ontario.  They are designed for students adults with Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mild Intellectual Disabilities or Brain Injury and provides students a unique opportunity to continue their education in a college environment. The core CICE learning focuses on personal development, human growth and essential employability skills which include interpersonal and workplace communications, functional mathematics, career exploration and readiness, health and wellness.

St. Lawrence College, Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston

York University Aspergers Mentoring Program (AMP) The AMP program is for York University students diagnosed with Aspergers or HFASD and was developed to assist students to develop a sense of belonging and a peer group, to support students as they navigate university life, and provide a coach to talk through difficulties that the student maybe experiencing.
