Description:
For parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, up to 5 yr.-8 mo. old  parent & child attend together  5 days/week, 3 hours/day  modest User Fee based on income Priority to Parents of Children 1. “aged out” of Summit’s wait list 2. ineligible for Provincial IBI funding 3. on Summit Centre wait list or other long wait lists with no intervention For Parents Who… Show the motivation, support & skills to benefit from intensive training e.g. • attend the above 12 hour workshop • bring a support person to workshop • show significant improvement on post-test at workshop • complete workshop homework • attend parent support groups • volunteer at Summit Centre • plan to run a home ABA program Fee: $10.00 per family due upon registration $20.00 for professionals Parents are encouraged to bring someone for support. 20 Spaces available! To reserve your space fee must be paid prior to Nov 13, 2009 Parents may want to just attend the 2 day workshop OR complete one of the requirements for consideration for Unity Sat. & Sun., Nov. 21-22, 2009 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
