The Pin Pals League is bowling league for ages 4 to 18. This league pairs volunteers and children up on a one to one basis and allows parents to watch them play and network amongst themselves. Children are treated to a Dairy Queen snack and some social time following their game.

Through breath techniques, varied movements and animated postures, children in this class will become more aware of their bodies and their sensory system.

Start off the March Break with a bang! Come out to YoYo’s Family Fun Centre at 4451 Tecumseh (just past Bernard in the Giant Tiger plaza) from 10am-12pm and bounce around. Yoyo’s has trampolines, ball pits, a merry go round, a jungle gym and lots more. It is suitable for children up to 12 years of age. It is free to families, but the earlier you arrive the better. Because it is March Break, Yoyo’s cannot shut down for us. So if they reach capacity, they cannot allow more of our members in, even if they are pre-registered. So please let me know asap if you plan on coming and then show up as close to 10am as you can

Family Swim at Elgin West Community Centre

This Social Learning Opportunity is designed to give families with young children (up to 8 years of age) an opportunity to connect socially with other families who are facing similar challenges. Children and parents will engage in social activities such as story time, sing song, and much more! Parents will be encouraged to make friends and establish play-dates outside of the group, as well as be supported to facilitate social interaction in their young children.

Allow your child to get creative and paint some pottery at Crockadoodle Studio at Tecumseh and Manning. The RCP program has rented out the studio from 10am-12pm so your child can decorate a penguin plate, a dinosaur or a snake box. We are asking for $5 a child and you will want to sign your family up as soon as you can, as there is only space for 25 children.

Cool off and take a break at the Shirk Centre in Leamington from 2-3pm. We will be joining their day camp for a swim in their two pools, with a slide for the tiny kids. This event is free to our families.

Mini Golf, and Indoor Play gym for two hours with 10 arcade tokens

Mad Science will be putting on a Wizarding Party for us at the Gino Marcus Centre on Drouillard, with two separate shows. The first is from 1-2pm and the second runs from 2:30-3:30pm. They will show us the magic of dry ice, UV light, chemistry and more! Each free show has room for 45 people total, so sign up soon!
